Safeguarding Learners Policy
At The Small Business Handbook Ltd, we are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all our learners. Our Safeguarding Learners Policy outlines our commitment to safeguarding the welfare of our learners, particularly those who are under 18 or are considered vulnerable adults.
-
Commitment: We are committed to promoting and prioritising the safety and wellbeing of our learners. We have zero tolerance for any form of abuse or exploitation, including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, and neglect.
-
Responsibility: All staff members at The Small Business Handbook Ltd are responsible for the safety and welfare of our learners. Staff members are required to complete a safeguarding training program to ensure they are aware of their responsibilities.
-
Identification: We are alert to signs of abuse or neglect and will take appropriate action to safeguard our learners. If you suspect a learner is at risk or is suffering from abuse or neglect, please contact us.
-
Reporting: We encourage all learners, staff, and third parties to report any concerns or incidents of abuse, neglect, or any other safeguarding issues. All reports will be treated seriously and handled with the utmost confidentiality.
-
Investigation: All reported concerns will be investigated promptly and thoroughly. Where necessary, we will involve appropriate external bodies, such as local authorities or law enforcement.
-
Protection: We will take all necessary measures to protect learners from harm, including removing them from an unsafe situation or limiting contact with the alleged abuser.
-
Support: We will provide support to learners who have been abused or neglected, or who are otherwise affected by safeguarding issues. This may include counselling, referral to external support services, or other appropriate interventions.
-
Review: We will regularly review and update our safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure their effectiveness and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
